Trovelore's artisans build the piece entirely by hand, working the body and swept wings in densely packed blue beads that shift from cobalt to slate as the light moves, edging the wing feathers and long forked tail in olive and antique gold, and finishing the throat in cream and red before adding the trailing branch — each tiny flower a cluster of white and pale blue petals around a gold center, its leaves worked in green and gold thread.
